Well since im about the only one with a 4" downpipe (using truck manafolds anyways, na$ty-ta has one-no truck manafolds though, and mike is using a custom motor mount and a 5" pornstar-pipe.)

Good pics, I was wondering if it would fit thru that location. Is that a BMR K-member?

With the turbo that low, were you going to still be able to use a gravity oil return line?

yes bmr kmember.

the turbo is above the oil pan level so using a gravity drain, its about the same level as the TTi race kit is. I wanted to go higher but my water pump was limiting me

Thats why this site rocks, instant pics of someone else's combo. I was planning on putting my turbo there, but its good to see pics of one that is already installed. That takes a lot of the guesswork out.

it almost seems like the downpipe was made from GM to go their.
as thats the side the exhaust runs on after the ypipe and you will have the most clearance that way instead of trying to get it to pass over the tranny.
ill have to get pics soon of my whole 4" exhaust that goes to about my rear tire, looks like its from a diesel truck or something.

are you keeping your PT88 or getting a differnt turbo?
you planning on mounting it straight on (i did mine like that so it could get air from the passenger fog light) or sideways so you can keep a full length radiator?

keeping the PT88 for now. If running 8s gets boring I think I'll just get into sky diving

Haven't decided 100% on turbo placement, just wanted to be sure the d-pipe would fit in that location with truck manifolds.

Lets see if this works for you. Joey's 98 SS, T-88, 5", truck manifold. Will not fit through stock K-member, but he is buy one - from a non-spouse (Anthony Jones Engineering), that will allow it to fit perfect.

fyi even with lots of custom work the 3 1/2 pipe bangs here an there, we have had to adjust it to get it right. 4 will be tight no doubt
