how far can i push the tr6's?

Default how far can i push the tr6's?

Should i look into a colder plug then this? Im going to push the car finally this weekend to get final numbers an try for 1000hp. Any thoughts, suggestions, from the guys that have been there or close to it? MightMouse, Harlan etc?

Mike, I honestly think it wont hurt to just jump one range colder anyway. Are you going o Dez on Satuday to dyno? I may swing down thee since I have never been and I can do some video...

Friday/Saturday will be a closed dyno. Only a few people will be there due to what we are doing,I don't need distractions...Sorry

so far 800/800ish but thats 14psi...we are turning it up this week and we are expecting some kind of blow out at 20psi or whatever it ends up at. Just being prepared. I will find out the limit i can tell you that

Mike, FWIW I asked Jose real quick.....he mentioned for your car to run TR6's to about 850rwhp and 1550-1575 EGT's. Above that he said switch to 5724-8's. He said if you start to experience some knock even with cool EGT's to go to the -9's which he mentioned is 3 ranges colder I believe. Read the plugs also, only way to really tell whats going on.

ya thats prettey much how it is right now...about 800rwhp on tr6...i ordered the -8's for when i push it. Tell him thanks...and thanks to you as well

Tell jose im gonna still do it on the t4 flange just to make his skin crawl

Lol, heck his car is still running the T4 flange 88 as well. He hates every minute of it, but to keep all his accessories he's stuck with it....haha. I tried to get him to ditch the A/C and go T6, but he won't do it for now...lol.

Definitely want colder plugs Mike. I talked to NGK and even for my setup they wanted me to go colder than the 6's.
