Incase you didn't understand, the pressure side is every part of the exhaust that is BEFORE the turbo. That is, all the way from the engine to where the exhaust hooks INTO the turbo. There is actually pressure in there that is comparable to the psi you see in the intake.

If you mount the sensor there, it will undergo extreme pressure/heat which will screw up the reading and possibly ruin the sensor.

It is not rocket science. JUST MOUNT IT AFTER THE TURBO. Like TIM Z said, 8 inches after is a decent spot.
Can you elaborate why? technically? Finding it hard to justify why I can use me LM1 before turbo and why it effects lamba.. thatnks!

Sorry my mistake for asking the question I have never opened up a wideband so I did not know how extensive the wireing is. Thats all I was asking

It has something to do with having the sensor exposed to the pressure in the pipe. I am just posting info straight from the horses mouth...innovative

LM-1 Documentation:
On TURBO CHARGED vehicles:
- 6 -
Bung: Install the bung downstream from the turbo before the catalytic
converter. The high exhaust pressure before the turbo interferes with
the lambda measurement and the high exhaust temperatures
encountered there can damage the sensor.

I contacted Zeitronix for advice on where to mount a WB in a remote turbo set up,they replied to install after the turbo but the cat will affect the mixture readings.

Forget what others say...this thread is about where to mount it with a remote mount turbo kit.
