guys using 6.0 manifolds come in hey guys i seen that the vortec 6.0 exhaust maniolfs are a cheap way to going on boost.now wat years are they from or wat truck or suv are they from?alsoany part numbers will be nice and price or were can i get a set for cheap?
4.8-6.0 are all good. If you can find em without the A.I.R/EGR holes those would be the ones to get.
Ebay is a good place to find em as well as here on tech, under the performance truck section. The F/S board on the truck board usually has a set or two from time to time.

We are using these on several projects for customers...see below. Cast manifolds are not only strong and heavy duty pieces but they flow very well. You cannot beat them for price versus reliability and strength. I believe W2W did a motor that went over 1300hp...with a set of truck mani's.

Verdad Gallardo IMO, the truck mani's will flow just as well, if not better than the TTi units. If I'm not mistaken and you have the TTi Street kit, that is a log manifold, correct? The truck manifold fits great on the passenger side but we had to remove the spark plugs on the driver side to bolt the truck mani. down.
Yeah, I have the TTi street kit with the upgraded T76 log. I was just curious about the pass mani. Im still going to keep the log setup. I only want about 600 RWHP out of it.

get the 2001-2002 manafolds for what your looking for, they flow a little bit better then the steel cast ones. (2000 might be the same as the later years, but not sure)
when i had my tti street kit i just got a pair of shorty headers for $100, that flowed alright.
Ahhhh.. good catch about the flange! Ill stick with the stockers. I have a 2001 so its all good 
I dont know if I want to do the header route. I thought about it, but with the heat and pressure, I dont know if I want to chance any cracking or anything.

No, the passenger manifold (truck) comes right down into the area and fills the area where the A/C is located.
We are in the midst of jigging up a kit using our LS1 headers that will allow you to keep the A/C.
