What turbo system would I need for this? Not motor/fuel etc. just what hot parts, I/c, bypass valve, wastegate, head unit etc. would I need? As for the pipes what sizes? Thanks

well I would think a 94mm would do the trick.3in or 2 1/2 in crossover pipes,1 7/8 primary headers,5 or 4 in down pipe.hks race gate or maybe turbo smart, tial blow of valve, nice air to water intercooler, and a hole lot of little ****.

I would think a nice twin system with like t76 size turbos should do it pretty easily.
My gmr with basic t 61s twins is supposed to be capable of over 1000 rwhp.
You can go up on at least one size think they said and not have to mess with the frame of the car and thought read two t76 size would fit with some frame notching.
Two of them should be capable of hitting 1500 I would think. Blow offs are no different, tial blowoff are high quality, tial gates are all the same you just change boost potential with springs inside them. I would think two t76s would do it at 20 or 25psi maybe. And of course you would need good fuel system twin pumps..big rails, and really big injectors i would think way bigger than 65 pounders I plan on getting but I will be pretty happy with 800 or so rwhp once build a forged up 6.0.
1500 rwhp is useless pretty much on track or street. We have a big block twin turbo car at our track like a second gen with big block chevy and it runs not that great. He can't hook up even on et streets worth a crap. He runs high mph but lousy ets.
He smokes them all the way down the strip though and it sounds like a freakin jet.
Its a ghetto turbo job.he cut his hood and they stick out..LOL

I think my 352 engine was just under 1500rwhp with twin 80mm's @32psi and a .060 nitrous jet. It had 1 7/8 headers with 3 inch collecters connecting the turbo's. The intercooler was a PT1800 AtoW from Presicion Turbo.
I think the 80's could do it with a little bigger engine or a clutch trans to help with losses.

The company that I worked for before I started doing the t56rebuilds thing built a gen 2 dodge viper with twin t76gts that made 1478rwhp at 24lbs. It also had an air to air intercooler. The fuel system was very basic -12 feed -10 return weldon pump and regulator 104 lb injectors. The headers were 1.75 dia and the up pipes were 3 inch, and the down pipes were 4 inch.

Joe,
In my research, a single 94mm isn't gonna do it. 101mm or 104mm will be needed. Unless the turbo guru's I spoke with are just wrong. And they include Gayle Banks and the like. Look what www.MontygWilliams.com did to get 1,200 FWHP on pump gas.

If you cant make up around 17-1800ish rwhp with a 101mm than you need to find a new tuner.
A 94mm will put you close to 1500rwhp dependant upon your setup.A 91mm would be up around 1200-1300rwhp.I'm not talking pump gas either.Be realistic. If your trying to make that kind of power put some good gas in the car

You would never do it on a single t76 that is why they did a twin kit. I agree it would take at least a 104mm turbo to get the results you are looking for if a single turbo is what you wanted. We only did twin's.

It will take $50,000...EASY.
Twins > 76mm or single 94.5+. I'd choose 1.875" headers and 3" collectors (3" x-over). 5" downpipe on a single and at least 3.5" pipes for the dual (4 would be better).
