Default No power

Hey guys I got a few questions for the procharger junkies on the board.. First off I run a sbc w/ F1 procharger 4" pulley. Went for a beat tonite and was only seeing 5# boost at 7000 rpms.. Now Im running a 12 rib setup and the belt is really tight, no signs of slippage.. Can anyone think of why im getting such low boost reading?? The 4" pulley is suppose to put out 18-20lbs boost!! Could it have something to do with my blowoff valve? Im running the ProFlo from procharger.. Also my fuel pressure isnt rising as my boost is increasing?! Im running 1/2 line and A1000 pump w/ aeromotive boost referenced regulator.. Any help greatly appreciated!!

Sounds like the vacuum line/source to both units is the issue

Are you sure your on a direct vacuum source that supplies vacuum at idle? It sounds like you may be on a ported vacuum source which would provide no vacuum until the rpm's are up.

Fuel regulator needs to be referenced off the hat, and not manifold referenced. Vacuum modulator line may be leaking as those hoses rarely fit very well due to their environment. Look into the end of the bypass valve and ensure the valve flapper fits well. It doesn't have to be air tight, but there should not be a large gap.

Andereck so your saying the FPR should be referenced at the "inlet" side of the ProCharger, not somewhere after the IC piping/before the TB or intake/brake booster area?

Hook the vacuum lines off the power brake hookup.Sounds like it is off the wrong port right now which causes the bypass valve to open under pressure.

No, I'm saying you need to hook the FPR up to the carb hat.

I dont have break booster hooked up rite now.. i got no wheres to connect it.. I need to tap into my manifold and create a hole for it... Why wouldnt it work the way it is?? There is plenty of vaccum at idle.. could it be that i have too much **** running off one vaccum source and it cant supply the vaccum to all the differnt things?? Also when i get into the gas at half throttle and then let off I can hear the blow off valve go Pshhh.. However when i floor it and then let off theres no Psshhhh. Hmmmm
