We don't have any problems with overheating in Indiana, I doubt you would either, being in Kentucky. Bob

The low profile 9" might work.

Us Kansas people who regularly head to Phoenix and points nearby are eagerly watching this r & d that ProCharger didn't seem interested in doing.

You would have to measure it. I am not sure.

Good luck!
Good info, we are going to use the 30100452 on a customer's car from El Paso, Texas. Thanks! Bob

Thats the fan we now use on my car. That fan slides right in between the radiator cover and power sterring cooler with no clearance issues. Its only 2 inches wide also.

Hi, did this setup fit on the d1sc? my car is still running hot and i have burnt the motors on three spal extreme fans. Seems like a auto store 16" after market fan lasts longer than my spals but it doesnt allow me to use the a.c. Being that i live in miami, not being able to use my ac even at night sucks !@#$%.

I thinking about returning my spal extreme for a refund instead of the 4th fan in exchange. And buying the set up posted in a link above for 399.00

But I just wanted to know if this set up fit on the D1SC first. Also do u have the 16 inch fan set to push air towards the motor and the nine inch to pull air away from it? Or are they both going in the same direction??

Thanks,

Crystal

I thought I was the only one who burnt out their SPAL Extreme fan. Mine just died this weekend while I was in Stop & Go Traffic on a hot day.

After a few calls to spal they explained that the extreme isnt meant for daily use, mostly track applications so by running all the time (duh im in miami fl.) that i meet its life expectancy in three months. They gave me another part number to another fan to try. I have it at work. PM me if u want the number tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, I only drive mine on the weekends and at the track. That was the first time I drove it about 100 miles on a hot day. I may have to either switch back to the stock ATI fan or get the one you bought.

You might as well post it here for others.

No, but the ATI ProCharger assembly for the LS1 F Body cars replaces the stock twin fans with one fan to allow room for the ProCharger head unit. In stop and go driving in extremely hot climates, the car can run hot with the a.c. on. By adding the extra fan above the ProCharger head unit, additional cooling is provided to the radiator. Bob

Yes, it fits with the D-1SC. The D-1SC and the P-1SC both use the same housing. Bob
