thats all i have. i dont see any reason to catch the oil if it is just going to send it out my tail pipe. there is one "port" on my pasenger cover, i just adapted it to the 5/8" hose going to the evac.

Default evac tube on downpipe

I have run this setup on my turbo Buick several years ago and it seemed to work very well. I noticed that the blowby mess on my valve cover breathers went away immediately. Mac

Nice set up Parish! Im running Speed Inc. valve covers w/ Billet Specialties breathers. (non PVC types) I was thinking of plumbing a hose from the lifter vally cover ( I think theres room behind my LS6 intake) to my DP. Maybe a larger hole w/ a Y or T to both DP's. Do you think this would work the same? I could also run a catch can w/ a breather if needed. Thanks - Ron

P.S. This is a twin turbo setup.

I'm glad you've put this to the test...I posted this same type set-up in another pcv thread...but no response from anyone...it was the last post to another on-going pcv thread...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...9&page=4&pp=20

Parish...I just added a breather to my passenger side vc, replacing the fill tube and cap...I could do the same evac set-up from the pcv location that you have your breather...correct? Not sure what fitting I would use to replace the pcv valve...
Also, where did you get the angle cut fitting...it seems relatively easy to fab if not available individually...

the motor only has about 400miles on it so far so i can't say for sure but i am tied into the stock vent tube on the valve cover and it has the factory baffles built into it. i would be suprized if i lost much oil.

not sure how the cat would like the small amount of oil vapor that it did see.

the fitting and one way valve came from summit. you can get a plastic fitting with threads on one side and a 90deg hose barb on the other and it will thread right into the rubber gromet that the pcv came out of.

thanks Parish...I may have to do this when installing my catless y-pipe...

did you just cap off the existing pcv vacuum line?

the one you used for the evac was originally going to TB?

yep, i think i used that vacume port that was the pcv to goto a hobs for my 2nd fuel pump so yea, just cap it. and yet i tied the evac into the line that used to goto the tb.

good deal...thanks again for the info...just wanted to make sure we were both singing from the same sheet of music...if there is a "good-better-best" vacuum source for the boost gauge, I would think the pcv line from the rear would be best, so I may just move my boost gauge to there instead of capping it...it is t'd off of fuel regulator and surge valve currently...

just FYI...anyone interested in these parts...

Summit MOR-97800 Moroso Replacement Check Valves $19.69ea
Summit MOR-97810 Moroso Replacement Weld-In Nipple Fittings $10.99ea

Parish, do you think that the oil separator/breather that comes w/ the complete kit, but also sold separately like the items above would be neccessary...or just the 90 as you stated?
