To start with a roots blower, like all blowers run of the belts on the motor... I dont even know how you could mount a roots type blower anywhere other then in place of the stock manifold. External belt driven blowers like a Procharger maybe under the motor... but the "Roots" configuration implies two screws that generate manifold pressure and force fresh air in the motor based upon the RPM of the motor.
