I don't think the kit is out yet. It has been coming out for over 2 years now and still nothing, Its only going to be available for the vette so some trimming will be needed on the f-body

There are a few on some Corvettes...I wasn't impressed with the results so far. Plus they have been having belt/pulley problems and from the dyno graphs the torque peaks real early at like 2800rpm and drops off from there. So does the boost, slowly drops off as the rpm goes up...They look to be a great bolt on for a stock car. But on a forged motor car wanting to run 15psi of boost, not so hot of a setup...

The kit made over 700rwhp and rwtq on a built 402ci. The problem was that the kit choked off after that. No way to get enough air into the blower for higher #s. Do a search on Corvette Forum's forced induction section.

i have been checking into putting a supercharger on my Vette. I was told not to port and polish the stock heads due to the fact they would flow to much and not allow enough back pressure. I think the guy who told me this is full of it. I just wanted to see if anyone else has heard of this being a problem-thanks

Check on www.corvetteforum.com there is about 3 guys on there two with finished products and one in the works. One of them put down over 600/600 and the other I don't remember, KB also has some type of billet bracket they came out with for the belt brakage problem. Two of those guys had 402/408 motors.

More airflow is a good thing.

Pretty much all incorrect info in your post.
Link to a 2003 ZO6 with the kit.

The big buildup did go over 700rwhp, which to me was a sucessful all out build for a positive displacement blower on a 402. Just the regular kit on a regular LS1 will be impressive, especially in a stalled auto car. The massive trq curve will propel heavey vehicles with ease, which makes it a great combo for heavy muscle cars looking to upgrade to forced induction on a fuel injected engine.
