Do you have a time as to when you might start producing these kits.

With 2777 views, I think you have some interest.

Man is this kit the hotness! Ive seen your LT1 vids/pics on Speeds site, and I bet this thing will be just as insane.

I assume with your 800-900rwhp mark, thats more along the lines of peak power, but what would you guesstimate the power levels to be on say something like a 348 Sportsman built around boost? Im assuming 550+ easilly off 7psi (wondering what a more cruising/low boost level would be for trips to the track, or around town).

Have you driven it yet? (I know, dumb question! lol) If so, how streetable was it (in your eyes...), and what boost level were you running it at?

Thanks in advance.

Wow! I like the look of this kit. Now I just need to save enough scratch to buy one! I will be keeping my eyes on this set-up! I like being able to keep my A/C. And I appreciate all of the engineering that went into the set-up. You maintained plug access, optimized turbo placement and tried not to give up on any of your targets. Nice work and looks great so far. Do keep us posted on the progress, results, and when these might be available!

sweet work Jim. I think you guys might be getting my car back again once you get all the install/tuning etc. etc. bugs worked out and some finally numbers. im already talking w/ Tom about it instead of doing my old plan of a 6.0L w/ a T-88 and TH-400. I'd love to have a stock cube(well near stock cube, 348ci) LS1 TT 6sp setup while getting my A/C and P/S back and still make 850-900rwhp. Are you shooting for these numbers on pump, unleaded 104-106oct race fuel or C12-C16 leaded race gas?? What kinda tuning program are you trying on it, a stock pcm SD HPTuners 3-bar or a stand alone like BS3??? Also, are GT-35s about like 70mm turbos???
Sorry for all the questions Jim but just curious about these things.
Also, I think LPE starts out with GT28s and you could upgrade to GT30s for 800+hp depending on boost. Thats what their 1100hp@20psi vette had on it which went 8.95@154mph w/ an auto launching at 1800rpm on M/T ET Streets 26x11.5in (Corvette Fever Aug '03 pg.50) or at least thats what they used to use unless they changed them w/ the C6 vettes. Anyway point being i bet ur setup will totally kill that one

Not being a fan of "log" style manifolds for turbo systems, I think this kit is the **** because of the turbos used. I might just have to look into it when the time comes.

Welcome back Dan!

Yeah, my vacation was cutting and welding. Finish welding is done and jigging has started.

(Don't worry, I've still got a bunch of steel here waiting for you )

INTMD8 - When my car grows up it wants to be your car! Seriously, this is the kind of thing I have always wanted to have. I want to keep all my accessories and have all the boost. I have a ways to go, to get there. I need a rear, drive shaft and low comp motor. I'll see what my current set up will do, then it's twins for me if this works out...

I agree intmd8's car is the greatest. Only if it was an ls1, but that doesn't really matter when its as sick as his is.

I just thought of this - With the exhaust it looks like you're running a custom Y-pipe setup.

Would there be any benefit/possibility of running true duals with this? Im sure it would have to be custom made anyway, but I was just thinking on what can be done as far as exhaust options.

i belive the y pipe will be included with the kit. the kit is being designed as a bolt on system with out many if ANY modifictions... so a ypipe that will bolt on to factory or aftermarket exhaust is what i thing will be included..... im sure if you want true duals you can take it to a exhaust shop and have it done.

now dont quote me on all of this , i have no part of this kit or speed inc...

SEMI TURBO NOOB if no one wants to explain why backpressure is greater with more cubes u dont have to i was just curious, a link would help a lot just want to know more about turbos and turbo stuff i know a little (basics) but dont know all the tehcnical stuff like this any links would be helpful

with the size turbos he has specified, a bigger cube motor will have more backpressure, if he chose a bigger turbo or bigger A/R turbines... it would offset it. However kit design probably does not allow for anything larger then what he is working with from what I can see.
