Why turbos(of the same size) create more back pressure on larger engines.

Example: If you and Jenna Jamison were to both the blow into the same straw. It would be "easier" for you to blow X amount of air through the straw than Jenna. She has more air to move though the straw than you, due to her cylinder being larger.(or in that case more conditioned for that kind of work)

Not sure if that made sense or not but I just wanted to put turbos and Jenna Jamison in the same paragraph.

laymans terms:
more displacement = more exhaust gas = requires larger exhaust orifices to achieve the same backpressure.

he made it using a bmr k-member and CSR starter. those are the only 2 things that should affect the fitment.

ya i think the starter is the big must because the clearance there is minimal. this is a bad a$$ kit. i would love to have one.

I was set on getting GMR's but this looks so much better! Besides, I don't think they're even trying to do that whole A/C relocation thing anymore.

One more thing... are you affiiliated with the two ladies below?

If so, when I come to drop my car off, I'd like to met them.

Yes, as every part on a car should be selected to compliment one another, engine displacement and turbocharger selection should be matched up to meet target power, response, and rpm range.

The GT35R's are (IMO) a perfect match for stock displacement. Try to run much more and you just hurt yourself with excessive backpressure and a reduced RPM range.

Typo on the starter, it is actually a CVR (Summit racing sells them).

And yes, the system was built around a BMR k-member, stock will not work.

As far as the dual exhaust question. The y-pipe terminates at 3.5in. I think the best exhaust option would be a Mufflex single 3.5 system with the Magnaflow muffler. This would cause no drop in power and you would have an exhaust all the way out the back.

IMO there would be little to no gain with duals. (except for noise)

I doubt it with those mentioned turbos, and it seems like to fit bigger turbo's youd have to notch the frame and get some different parts.

Jim explained better in a few of his previous posts, so read up.

MstgKillr- Not exactly sure yet. We are finishing up the fixtures tomorrow and starting on the 2nd system next week.

PRAY HRD- We will initially just be offering complete systems, which may or may not change in the future. It's unlikely that I would duplicate the manifolds in stainless as I believe they would be more prone to cracking in this application due to higher expansion rates (and being less ductile).

If you wanted some custom forward facing headers we could do that for you through Speed Inc.

BW- yes, this system is a direct bolt on for 98-02 F-bodys, 98-02 GS400's, and 71 International Scout diesels.

Need any test vehicles for the 2nd or 3rd system? lol

Would be nice to see what a high milage LS1 would do w/ twin turbo's.

Then after I blow it up, I can get my forged 348!
