But a t56 with a viper main shaft swap and a tex dual should be good deep into the 9's and to fix the issue of these little autos thinking there the **** at the line and can outshift you on the street. I am going to solve that with a little go go juice (nitrous).

don't think just upgrading the main shaft to a viper spec will make your tranny that tough.. I forsee some problems.. But good luck.

On my 2004 GTO Single turbo. I am going from a M6 with dual Tex to a Built TH400 3600stall RMVB transbrake etc. What rear end gear will my car be streetable and still be a badass car at the track, If I am going to build a car I want to be able to win some of the cash there offering at the track.
I drive my car everyday and is a true 100% street car.
This thread is pretty old and played out anyhow so I'm closing it. May want to ask the same question in the drag racing section and list you intended max rpm, tire size, car weight and approx horsepower.
