Yeah thats the problem. We already order boat loads of units. Then this comes out and you order boatloads more in just 2-3 days, then they have to scramble. Since they don't cast anything in-house, they are sitting around waiting for parts as well.

I told them LS1tech is going to be mad at Turbonetics if they don't hurry....lol

nah, not mad at ol Turbonetics, just at why everytime I order a turbo it takes like 2-3 weeks to get one.(GT42 took nearly a month, MP T70 2.5wks, Tnetics/FI TC76 ?? ) But oh well. Part of the game I guess, but I don't have to like it

Thanks for the info Doc.

I got a Turbonetics in two days...

Remember, though, some people have waited half a year for Precision units here IIRC.

The first batch of TC buyers got theirs in 2 days......the ones we had on the shelf...lol. They were gone in about 1 hour after we posted about the units...lol.

Also about the turbos taking 4-6 months....that is true. Some are still waiting on backorders from other vendors they have ordered from. Sucks, but that is the nature of the Turbo beast.

Lucky guys, how many did you have on the shelf? As for the guys waiting 4-6 months for a turbo. That **** is outta hand.
We aren't looking for a wait close to that long at all for ours, Right Doc Turbo?

IF you do, don't sell your MP T70 turbo until you have one of these fancy schmancy turbos sitting dead in front of you. I sold both of mine now my car is a driveway ornament once again until the UPS man drops one off to me...one day...

A wait for that long...heck no. We will go elsewhere if its that long. We talk with T-netics almost daily now...or at least try.

We had 10 on the shelf I believe at the time. A few non-bb and some BB. All disappeared quick. Of course alot of units leave daily......

4-6 months is not from us. That was some of the wait times in the past for other turbo vendors and their customers that posted on here in the past.

I waited a very long time for my MP t70 when they were held up in customs...

Are the turbos able to ship directly from turbonetics to us instead of going to you guys and then to us? Im not sure if you need to assemble the TC units at your shop but I ordered the MPS which should already be assembled and be able to ship direct.

.
Another reason why we stopped carrying MP. Everything about it was slow. Try doing a warranty on them direct with MP. Around 6 months wait most of the time.

Drop ship addresses were sent this morning . But T-netics is hit and miss sometimes. They screwed one up already this morning for one of our Viper customers...

What A/R ratios are available for the TC76 w/ the BB option?

I'm looking for the turbo of choice for my 509 cubic inch BBC setup going in my street truck. Of course it'll be a twin configuration. The motor won't go over 6500rpm, so I'm looking for quick spool (3300-3500rpm). They need to flow enough air to push 4000lbs 160mph in the 1/4.

You need twin TC76's with smaller A/R's (.68's). That would make an awesome setup indeed and a boat load of power.

And yes the BB option is available on those units.
