Talked to Dan today, its a 3.85 pulley, not a 3.75.

And thanks to Guy as well! I forgot about him, sorry.

As far as motor specs, we'll just say the new Dart heads and big cams work pretty well together.

Sure, I just have to get some pics though. I have to clay bar the car, whatever dust is floatin' around out there is embedded in my paint, but the clay bar will remove it. Its raining now, but one day this week I'll do it.

What address do you want them mailed to?

No can do, don't have the required equipment.

On a side note, has anyone made this much rwhp on a D1 before on pump gas, even through a manual trans?

A clay bar will remove it. Ask me how I know.

Remember.. these numbers were made on 93 octane.

Sam,

Sorry about that, you can thank the fine fiberglass shop behind us, in fact I think you have a hood from them, and thats only from a few days in the main shop! If it wouldn't have been so late, we would have done it for you, and yes, a clay bar will take it right off.

I need spots! Also can we ask what the compression ratio is? I had a hell of a time trying to decide, kept hearing different stories about what to do with the blower, guess they like more compression then a turbo.

Oh and thanks for making me feel better about getting the D1, seems big numbers are coming out more and more frequently from the D1's.

No problem Dan, I actually like cleaning the car. Its usually the only thing I can do without messing something up! I figured the fiberglass was what did it, not suprised.

I'll let Dan tell any of the details he wants released, as far as CR goes and stuff.

On a side note, I think I'll email ATI and see if anyones ever made more than 757 RWHP on pump gas with a D1, I searched and could only find a couple guys who have but they were on meth or race gas, and manual trannies. I just think its funny that everyone said the D1 wouldn't feed a 408, and here we are making F1 power with it. Its just a combo that works I guess, thats why I had the whole deal done turn-key at FLP. This way they could choose what parts work best.

None of the guys I race on the street get on here, so I'm comfortable talking about it, but I had Dan print me off a 482 RWHP sheet too, for my stock 6.0 motor with a P1SC. Wink, wink.....

Trade secrets. Scott the engine builder knows his stuff and his 25 plus years of knowledge don't get put on the internet for free. Cornel Sanders of KFC doesn't give away his secret ingredients for his famous fried chicken, why should the engine builder be any different? Some of the "basic" things are common knowlegde... some other things are not. You have to respect Midwest Engine Tech (the engine builder) and FLP.

Sweet I want to get ripped off like that too! I cant imagine that kind of power... I went from a nearly stock LS1 camaro to a 480 whp C5 and DAMN.... I was seriously scared the first few times I floored it... I dont get to drive it that much, but it still impresses me everytime I drive it. 750 friggin HP is just insane! I want a ride

I'm gonna shout to FLP and possibly give them some business, thanks for the post!

Got some pics today, and got to actually run the car a little. Its runnin' hot, but we'll figure it out. I rolled on it in second gear going about 20 or so and lit tires for a good half a block. I thought it might stop spinning and hook sometime but it spun till I lifted. These are 325/50/15 MT DR's BTW, a very good tire. I got on it again later for another trip around the block and it busted tires loose at 7 lbs. Damn thats fun! I want to feel the power though, now all I'm doin' is making stripes. I'll have to get out in the country and try third gear. I'm looking at the SDCE fan assembly too, but for the money I think we'll try another fan in front of the condenser and opening up the shroud on the engine side. I'm thinking if I put a pusher fan on the driver side of the condenser and cut the shroud for air to flow through it might help. Its only in the high 70's here and I hit 220 w/o the A/C on. Also my EWP is a few years old, maybe it needs rebuilt?
