My buddy is running that combo. 383,A&A DS1C, meth inj, made 625rwhp/520rwtq at 12psi through a new Tranny Level V with a 2800 Converter. Car runs 10.1-10.2 in the 1/4 mile at 137mph. He just switched pullies and is making 15psi now. Shooting of a 9.9 or 9.8 1/4...

All those guys only making 640rwhp on built blocks haven't touched a number that their cars are capeable of. Something tells me that they're running out of fuel because 750+ is possible with a D1SC on 91 octane with a built block.

It really isn't hard to get over 700 rwhp with a 346 an an ATI ProCharger D-1SC. You need a good bottom end, decent flowing heads, a mild blower cam, 60lb fuel injectors, and a complete fuel system. On the F Body, adding a front mount intercooler keeps the inlet air temps down. The fuel system is the key here, as Drewstein hit on. We can see 550 to 600 rwhp with twin in tank pumps with stock fuel lines and stock fuel rails. Past 600 rwhp, plumbing in a return fuel system is the key to making big power, along with larger fuel rails. With the added fuel system, the 346 can really be made to run big numbers. Bob

My other buddy Steve(Peter Pan on corvetteforum) is making 742rwhp at 14psi at 6000rpm(where they stopped the dyno run). Probably would have made more, but he said that was enough and set the rev limiter to 6200rpm. DS1C on a forged 346 with hand ported LQ9 heads, 9.4/1 compression, small 224/228 114LSA cam in a 99 vette...

Keep in mind when we make 700+ rwhp on our Mustang Chassis Dyno with it's eddy current, that this would be approx 750 rwhp on a Dynojet. That tells us just how easily it is to hit good hp numbers with just a 346 and an ATI ProCharger D-1SC. Bob

Nice #'s for the P1SC! What pulley are you running?
