76 is the largest impeller you can run with that turbine wheel. Jose won't have anything built that exceeds his 30% rule.

Don't let my isolated problem hold you back from getting one of these turbos. They are a great deal, especially the warranty.

Yes listen to forcedfed I just bought one also have yet to run it with my HI-FLO kit! This turbo will make 850 reliable RWHP with race gas on a forged 347 short. No doubt about that.

Is the MPS wheel actually a larger diameter or steeper pitch same size?

The MPS turbine is close to the same size I believe. But the tip and blade height is much taller and the pitch is much more aggressive.

Sounds like a leak somewhere in the system. 9psi just doesn't add up.

I don't know, it kinda adds up until I see results from others with this turbo.....especially here on tech. I know plenty have bought this particular unit but so far no one has posted up on what it has done on their set ups...maybe 9psi is all it can muster on an LS1
But you are probably right, a leak somewhere in the system....I'm eyeing the BOV and that damn WG clamp....Tial sure used a cheap *** clamp to attach it to its flange, I wish I could find the right V band clamp to use instead of that cheap one they included in their kits.

Kyle, check in the post in the moderator section, but the short of it is with a new house going up, Jen working and going to college full time and me building Erics turbo kit, I haven't had anytime to really even look at the car. **** I made up a nifty pressure testing set up that can be used on the car to check for leaks, but haven't had the time to hook it up.
