***Hi-Flo Track Times *** videos to come
RAN OUTA GEAR WITH OVER A SECOND LEFT IN THE RUNS*** half i bounced off the limiter(bad), and half i just let off and coasted)
still on the same 1 hr safe tune. CUTOUT MOTOR SNAPPED off on the lift before i left, therefore cutout was CLOSED unfortunately. that hurt me quite a bit. first time at the track in a year...and i was pleasantly surprised.
14.5psi, leaking off due to BP from restrictive exhuast (no cutout)
first run....bogged bad outa the hole....:
3.028 R/T
2.027 60'
5.173 330
7.611 1/8
100.90 mph
9.857 1000
11.341 1/4
141.50 mph
second run, better launch:
2.764
1.862
4.863
7.265
100.87
9.297
10.938
141.53
third run, this time i let off and coasted instead of bouncing the limiter:
.808
1.804
4.796
7.195
102.49
9.222
10.963
134.67
had some more runs, trying different things....dont feel like listing them all tho. my buddy has a video that will show them all....prolly a day or two for that.
all in all....VERY SATISFIED with the setup. between the car not being complete, not having proper/efficient gearing, shot tires, safe tune.....moderate boost, my first time, etc etc......i cannot believe its performance.
the top end is rediculous. just having the gearing to complete the run would def put me at 145+ trap, and 10.5- ET. as it sits, with gears/tires/seat time the car def has 9s...and once im able to get the car on the dyno to get some more ponies....well....im happy. The 1/8th looks like theres LOTS of room for improvement. if i can work on that, i think id see some great times..
AND I WAS LUCKY. no cage.. tech guy goes: "what u planning on running?"....
-"ummm, somewhere in the 12's"
"u dont got any nitrous or anything like that?"
-"nope!"
and they didnt even look twice at me all night.....i got lucky
thanks to Hi-Flo for making an outstanding kit at a great price. thanks to J&J Speedshop for great prices on the engine parts and fuel setup, as well as specing the pistons, heads, and cam. The combo is GREAT. thanks to everyone who helped out in the build; chuck, pat, jay, mark, jeeves, bill, marko, dad, and im sure theres more.

ya wowzer! on that 41mph increase on the big end!!
whats your tire size and type and rear gear?
if you have a t56 then you couldnt have run out of gear, but just not optimum for your mph and tire size, cause you could have shifted!
also whats your raceweight?
any IAT data, im curious how the IC does lying down.

i might put a 6-point in the car over winter....but im hesitant to do it cuz i dont wana cut the car up. its still a great driver and is almost liek stock. but i know im starting to push my luck
stock t56. 3.73 gears (moser 12). 275/40/17 which i believe is 25". i tried 5th once and it fell flat on its face.
i wouls like 3.23s but i guess theres no such thing for a moser 12. so its prolly gona be 3.08s if they work out well fo rmy buddy. i dunno how much difference the 3.42s would make.
as far as the 1/8th, it didnt SEEM that bad as far as spin, but i couldnt really tell. a big help would be tires thats werent completely gone so i could launch over 3-3.5k. ill work on it.

yes.
the bike/rider was 10.7 @ 129 i believe...that was a ninja 636
but i have a vid of me vs an R1 i posted up on here. i didnt win, due to spinning early in the races...but its still a cool vid.
we believe my limiter was at 6800rpms....we're not 100%..... either way i think i picked up momentum for the last couple mph. that is WAY higher than i expected outa these gears as far as mph. obviously the car was still pulling real strong
and yes to the camaro

No surprise here, thats what i expected. The kit is made to flow 1200+ hp and not just make stupid peak numbers, but have great power all around. Thanks for reminding me how bad *** of a kit it is for $5000. Turn up the boost now.
