Stock..Sts...yes??
I'm sure you get alot of ignorant questions such as this, but it's better to ask first then to find out the hard way. . . .I was wondering If it's a bad idea to get an sts kit and just run it at 5-6 psi if I just get the proper fuel injectors and better fuel pump/tune. I don't go to the track, because the closest one is hours away and I don't have a trailer, nor do I plan driving such a distance. My biggest worry is the stock 10 bolt, but I really don't drive my car all that hard and I can't think of the last time I launched it from a stop light. If anything, I pick it up a little bit on the highway but thats it....mainly due to the fact that I don't want to risk other peoples lives going crazy speed limits down roads other people use other then myself.
I'm sure by now you are wondering why I would want to get a turbo.....because I LOVE THEM, they sound sweet and I have always wanted a kit since day one I bought the car. It may be a rediculous reason, but thats just the thing, why not? and YES I know for a fact I will not go past my goals of only sticking to 5-6 psi.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance....
BOOST IT!!!!!!
o and make sure you get a really good tune!
with 5-6psi you might not have huge traction issues...off the line you are going to but not other than that.
call billy at trt and see what he recomends...o and you are gonna need a clutch

5-6psi will be fine and you shouldn't have any problems with your stock rear just running on the street. Street tires will usually break lose if you hammer it to hard. That's good for the 10 bolt! You can bolt a TA cover on if you have any concerns with that. Added insurance. On the note of the A4, you should be fine with 5psi. Just be careful boosting in overdrive
