I got a Tial 50mm BOV and a Rattle snake
Just upgraded to the Tial 50mm on a rear mount setup. I got the 11psi spring cause my car pulls 21-22" at warm idle. When I give it a little gas but not quite boosting, and let off, the rattlesnake runs back through the turbo. Should I order the 9psi spring. I'll be putting the z06 cam in soon and that will pull a little less vacuum, I think? any suggestions. I just hate that sound makes me feel sick

Vacuum is taken off brake booster line. I had a smaller BOV before but it was open a little at idle so I never got the rattle snake sound, I just wanted a bigger BOV that would just stay shut at idle. I can rev the engine and let off and the 11 psi spring wont open. I think I am going to et the 9 psi spring

I put a steel washer in the bottom spring seat so that the cut spring won't cut into the aluminum base. I cut one full coil off first and that was almost perfect. But I wanted it to be perfect so I cut 1/2 of the next coil off. So the spring is about 1" shorter than stock but it is sitting up 1/8" up on the steel washer.
