PT67 vs PT76... ?
So, I'm at a crossroad...
Car:
05 GTO m6
Stock internals 364 LS2
~238/242 115 +3 (blower cam)
Custom heads flowing ~310 (243 castings, 921 springs) (compression is guessed to be in the 11.5:1 range )
1 3/4" headers (OFI kit has tubular headers)
With a D1-sc 3.7" pulley + ECS restrictor plate car (5.5psi at 6850) made ~550/500 on the local heart breaker mustang dyno (pre heads). Clutch gave up on the run with the heads (was lookin to tag 600+ with a couple more PSI).
I got bored and decided to go with the OFI kit. My dilemna is, 67 or 76...
I don't know exactly what my motor flows, and that's why I can't exactly look at the efficiency maps and go by that.
Knowing the pistons/rods are stock, will a 67 be able to flow enough to grenade the motor??? Will I even be able to spool the 76 before I shift at 6850 (don't want a supra...)? Maybe a 72gts would be a wise compromise?
Am I barking up the wrong tree with this cam either way I go???
Car is a DD and my main choice of poison is the roll-ons we have here in vegas. I hurt alot of feelings with the Procharger, but want to try something else, and possibly achieve a bit more tq to make the car even more lethal. Can anyone chime in? Again, I don't want the car to act like a 100mm supra.
Regards,
Jon Cain

That's the thing though Jeremy, I'll only be playing with 8psi or so... what about the 72 as a mix?

using stock consumption chart
http://www.forcedinductions.com/consumption364.htm
8psi, 1.54 PR, 59lbs at 6500. i drew the red lines using this info (the cross hatch is my mark for 3500 RPM (32 pr). i think my motor consumes alot more than 60 though..
76 looks more effecient. 66 looks like it falls off quick

Looks like the t66 would spool alot quicker than the T76. Which makes it better for the street but worse for the strip.also u would need alot more boost for a certain power level with the T66 vs The T76.
