so do we have a graph yet? or official info?
i would believe it, as once a setup is done correct I personally know it will deliver tremendous more power than thought. but i have no clue on this

I EVEN found it a bit funny, too... How 'bout that?

I know, I'm just a little skeptical. Those numbers would be realistic on a 402+ motor, but not in any way a 346 stock shortblock with untouched 317's... UNLESS, he's running a decent shot of nitrous on top of it! =) I want a graph, and I want to see the car run, talk is cheap, run what ya brung...

I dont think the dyno sheet is gonan show us anything. So long as he aint lying what is it gonan show ya? What RPM did it make that power at. If he aint spinning it to 8k then its pretty damn crazy. I hope the poster aint lying, and that being said it has to be a mix up somewhere. Boost gauge is incorrect is hte only thing that makes sense without the poster having to lie. So i think nothing can prove him wrong save for doin it again with a new boost gauge reading boost and someone checkin tha the heads aint ported or a different intake. I really dont kwno but i cant imagine how this is true. GL

Here is my dyno graph of 652.7 whp..............and it was only on 4.5psi!!!
Get my point? Dyno graphs don't prove boost. I call infinate BS on 570+whp on 4.5psi and a mustang dyno on top of that!!! No way, espicially with untouched 317 heads. A magic cam isn't gonna make THAT much more power than everyone else.

I dont know a ton about turbos so correct me if im wrong. I thought that if u have a turbo on ur car and its WELL within the efficent range, IE a t75gts makin only 550ish hp, that havin a turbo that is much larger or havin 2 descent sized turbos wouldnt make all that much difference? I knwo once a turbo gets outta its efficent range that it wont do nearly as well as a turbo that is sized correctly. I didnt think that just slappin on a huge turbo would make more power then a turbo that is correctly sized. shrug

why not? an OVER WEIGHT supra with just around 450rw did 120. Weighing a good 300+ over stock. (19" rims, wide body kit, entertainment system, and BALDDDD street 285/19's on the back..oh yeah and lowered 2") I dont see why an extra 20mph isnt possible with 150 extra hp, way better suspension and prolly 200lighter)

Bill, bring the car back over when I am here.... maybe tomorrow. I will check all the parameters on the dyno and make sure it is reading 100% correctly. We recently installed new load sensors on the dyno and had it recalibrated. Everyone now says it reads low..... I cant win! LOL
To me a dyno is a tuning device..... I take all dyno numbers with a grain of salt. I dynoed my car at 980 RWHP in TX on a dyno jet and then the next day ran 170 trap speeds while other cars that dynoed 1200+ trapped 160 and we all weigh the same. I just use our dyno for tuning purposes. It is so hard to compare dyno numbers from one dyno to another.
However if you bring it by tomorrow, I will redyno it myself and log on the dyno your boost pressure.

heres a thought. Just reading through the vince thread on cams, it was stated that, for example, if you have a more restrictive setup that makes 600rwhp @10psi and you increase flow capacity, that psi reading will show lower than 10psi, hyperthetically 4.5psi, however producing the same amount of power or close to as before.
A larger cam than usual for boost motors, meaning more overlap or long durations creating more scavanging of cylinder charge, will yield a less restrictive flow characteristic. Wouldn't this be a representation of this or something close to it? IT would seem logical, that at that boost level, 600rwhp+ is a bit far stretched, however, those turbos aren't slouches, and when matched, it could yield a similar number.
Now, my concern with the graph is to see where this combo makes its power. Is it all around or more like a supra graph... all ontop.
anyone please correct me with im wrong....
