Default Finally Got Her to the Track Again....

Made 4 passes before it started to rain.... it was a Local Track Rental and we got rained out..... rescheduled to the 10th...
I ran on my M/T 275/60/15 Drag Radials
All passes at 17 psi on 110 fuel
First pass i tried off the foot brake since it was the 1st time i had tried the Radials...
Spun to a 2.1 60' and ran an 11.9@134 pedaling it...
Spun the next pass bad about 400 ft out on the 1-2 shift and rolled to a 12.9@64
3rd pass Transbrake @3psi launch did a 1.84 60' Pedaling at half track again.....11.18@144
Man was it SCARY stopping.....
This was at Richmond Dragway the same track Mightey Mouse crashed at.... there is no stopping room there....Need to mount the Chute
So i decided to practice my launch's and my 60' and run 1/8 mile...

4th pass 5psi on the brake 1.64 60' ,6.25 1/8 @118 hit the brakes and still ran a 10.45@105
I had talked to Harlan and Tom and they told me to hit the tires harder...
The radials like a hard Transbrake launch.... so i was going to try more boost off the launch and the rain started coming down......

I cant complain.... didnt cost me much... $20 in diesel on the way up and back and $30 for 5 gallons of 110 and lunch.....
They didnt even charge us to run so i cant complain... it was better then being at work on Fri.

Here are a couple Pic's

Ill be working on the vids even though there not much.....
Hopefully my new Rearend will be in by then and i can try on my new 325/50 M/T Drag Radials...

Sounds like a lot of fun Kyle... You think you'll hit 9's with the 325's??

Sheesh man. I need to find myself a pair of rear Weld wheels to mount some fat MT ET DRs too. And then some real wheels with slicks.

Why didn't you run on slicks?

Either way the 1/8mile time looks nice... still room to grow, but I think the slicks will be the main factor.

Good Luck and keep us posted!

Nothing wrong with MT DR's, guys have been 7's on them. I personally like them better than the slicks.

6.25 is more like a 9.55 or so maybe even a low 9.50 at least on most turbo cars I've seen...typical nitrous/motor cars pull 1.55-1.56 but on my car I ALWAYS saw between 1.520 and 1.525.

That's 1/8 to 1/4 conversion times and based on over 75 passes and it was NEVER out of that range...my prior setups were always within a very small range as well.

So figure 9.5's at your current boost at around 150 mph maybe a few higher with the same 60 ft...just gotta get that 60 ft down you have the power for bottom 9's easy.

Though I think those 275-60-15's are not what I would use at that power level. I think that FI class of the PSCA mandates a 28x11.5 DOT and they spend a lot of time getting those cars to hook.

6.25 1/8 with a 1.64 60' would probably be a high 6.3x or low 6.4x staying in it..

Congrats on getting out there and beating it up some

You should be able to put it on the bumper with the 325's. Ask me how I know.
Get those on there and get to a real track.

If you would have gone to the track instead of a dyno you would have made a 9 second pass by now.
