So now I just need to pull the drive shaft, starter, tranny, bell housing, and everything from the pressure plate to the flywheel, again, lol.

I just dont have some of the tools (I.E. extensions) to reach the bolts in the back, so im waiting for some friends to help but their schedules are a little busy this week. Trust me, im trying, I want my car back on the road. Just takes some patience.
i dont use any extensions when droping my tranny, i just take the intake manafold off (20min job) and get the top bolts to the tranny from the engine bay.

Not familiar with your cars.....

But on my car, the T56 is a tight squeeze.

I remove the tranny first, followed by the bellhousing. The top bolts are a doddle that way from underneath. Refitting is also easy, as you dont have that stupid big bellhousing to wriggle in !! The tranny almost slides straight on ( on a transmission jack )

I would use a 4 ft extention with a swivel socket and save myself 15 of that 20 mins.

Thats the way I do it also. Trany gone and then bellhousing for a total of about 45 minutes. But everyone is different.

What for? that has to be the dumbest **** ive read on this **** to this day.

I can have the 6 speed trans out, on the floor in 30 minutes. take the trans apart at the bell housing, pull it out, then pull the bellhousing next and im done. How long is it taking you folks? I dont think I use but one 12" extension at that.

You losers take WAAAAY too long to take off the tranny and bell housing. It only takes me about 5-10 minutes:

But then again... I cheated.
