Default Anyone have video of their car spooling?

I'm curious to see how fast different setups are spooling and how mine compares. If you have a video or can find videos of 76+ size turbos spooling at the track on the street, etc please post them. I'd prefer videos where the boost gage is visible.

Just driving around on the street a bit, brake boosting a few times around 3700 rpms. It's basically from a 2nd gear roll and spools the same. Ignore the wideband, it's just another fucked LC-1.

346ci, PT-76GTS, 3" exhaust (too small), 3.42 gears, 6 spd, more info on my site

Fun vid Nic, those ones are the most fun because you have a lot of footage and you can really hear the engine winding out.

I'll try to take some vid when I move my car, but it's pretty dangerous for me to make blasts when it's 30F outside.

Because it accelerates fairly quickly. I shift around 6000 when I am casually beating on it and my low boost setting at 10 psi/91 oct makes ~680 rwhp.

I have boost/vacuum, fuel pressure, and a fucked up LC-1 wideband soon to be replaced by an AEM or something.

i heard it..... it just seamed like you had a short rpm band to work with...but if you were short shifting than its probably fine.... im just used to more rpm...and alot of people put too big of turbos on their car and it spools up right before they need to shift.

Nic, on the close up of the boost gage is that where you are brake boosting, sounds like it. That's a little faster than what mine spools up right now when brake boosting it from 3500. I need to get someone to video it while I'm playing around.

Nic is short shifting because when your car makes that much power, it's just as much fun.

It would be interesting to take my car somewhere that is straight for two miles and floor it. I think if I don't crash it might be pretty insane.

I had a Precision 76GTS on a 370 and it had absolutely no trouble spooling. 12psi was almost instant.
