T60 or T67s should work good for your goal

66's or 67's if you want a quick spool. 60's are just too small on a 408. I run twin 76's, but my car is a little more track oriented.

Figures.. Hoping someone does it on a stout setup on the 484 LSX motors.. Maybe I'll just do it!

I put twin 88's on a 352ci LS engine and ran it on a engine dyno. It was ok coming up on boost, but went into boost surge at 7500rpm/1700hp. Precision turbo changed the turbo's to 80's, but I never ran on engine dyno again to test, did well in car. I have the same engine going back in with a single 101 for some more testing next summer.

Man... leave it to Kurt to shut everyone up! LOL So do you think you could have done it with a bigger cube motor? Say a LSX or World block 427?

I did not mean to shut anyone up LOL, just as luck would have it I had already done that. I think I would stick with the twin 80's even on a 427, but it might pull twin 88's. I only tried them because I borrowed the turbo's and thats the size they were. They built the turbo's for a 450ci BB chevy and they ran well on that. I think with all the blocks coming out we will see some bigger turbo engines that will run well!! I can't wait to see what everybody runs next year!

Yea I would think your right Kurt... I am looking forward to the GM Perf block comming out... I have also read some good things about the newer sleeved blocks.

Silver... is he running one of the newer blocks? I didnt think a regular 427 on an LS2 block could handle boost well.

Either Turbonetics or Garrett will work great. As for A/R, if you drive on the street with rare track use, then .68A/R's if you plan to drag race alot then .81A/R's.

Ummm I dont know anything about it... I have really only been following the GM LSX block and the World products block. Like I said earlier.... do a search here in FI for block sleeve and there are some builders that have done good boost numbers on 42x blocks...

Kurt with W2W.... Erik from HK Enterprises... and some of the other custom builders would be good people to ask. I think our sponsor from Canada has some experience with the sleeved blocks as well if my memory serves me.
