ok, now i need help. I was on summit searching earls fittings trying to figure out the set-up i wanted to make for the drain. The issue is... the fittins off of my turbos for drain at -10 male. The fittings on the Pump are 3/8npt male on both sides. I need a T somewhere in there to connec tthe 2 drain lines into 1 to go into the pump.... what combo do you guys think i should go with for fitting sizes, hose size, etc... Its kind of weird as there is not much for combining 3/8 npt and -10an. So if you could please make up a list of fittings and hose size to use for this that;d be awesome. Thanks a lot!

yea, they are angled and the compressor wheels face more to the sides of the car. I really need help with the oil drain fittings here.... Running a scavenge pump, is 3/8 hose okay to use? Or should i still use 1/2 or 5/8.. needed? Or would a combo like 1/2 off the turbos then down to 3/8 into the pump and 3/8 to the pan? Some help here would be great.

crossovers and turbo's themselves are 2 different things bowtieman.next time after you finish doing some pulls pull over and stick your hand next to the turbo and see how hot it is,i dont care if your turbo is coated or has a blanket.Youre going to have not 1 but 2 VERY hot objects practically touching the fans.I wanted to hear what Jammer says since he previously owned the kit.If the fans will last cool, but its gonna be cooking in front there.

yes, i am aware spider that it will be hot. Jammer never got as far into the install to mount the fans. He told me that he thought they would be fine until you turned the car off and the fans stopped. But i have a fan switch so i can keep the fans running for a few minutes after the car is stopped. Like i said, we will see, if it melts them it melts then, i will move forward from there. Right now my main concern is this oil return, i'm stumped as to how i should set it up, any help?

Thank you everyone for the good comments and for helping Jon through questions.

We are on the phone a few times each day. It's great he's asking from all sides of the build, best way to learn and see the variety.

That is a nice stainless kit, wish I had time to build my own.

As far as the fans go.. I wasnt "comfortable" using the stock fans as I felt there was a good chance of an issue there...and I also didnt want pushers...so , for me that was a negative. I also didnt want a pump... just one of the reasons I was out of the rear mount set-up. Couple the fan and pump changes I suspected I needed... I decided that if I was gonna do a kit and make mods, I'd just build mine..for which I had already collected many parts. I think Superman is a go-getter and will do whats necessary... and maybe break some new ground along the way. We all can learn from his successes or mistakes...and thats whats cool about the forum. We owe him a debt of gratitude for being so sharing ...Im sure we will here the goods and bads over time. I expect he will feel the boost, get addicted, blow the motor and build a forged big bore...and begin the jaunt done FI lane to the point he cant say his goodnight prayers without wondering if God is mad, cause for a fleeting moment, during his "Our Father" he caught himself dreaming of his Turbo TA.

Thanks Jammer, thanks for the kind words. I enjoy hearing the perspective of all sides which is why i made this thread, also as you all know i am relatively new to FI so i'm glad i could get some help and answers from you guys along the way. Really appreciate it and i'll continue to take more pictures as i move along with the build.

As of now, the kit is on and bolted up tight, meth pump and tank are mounted. fuel pump, valvesprings are also done. Guages are in and lights hook up and wires ran. Oil feed lines are ran and oil block has been drilled an tapped. All thats left to do is set up the oil drain lines with the scavenge pump that should be here today, still need to find some awkward fittings. Also the trap door has to be sealed, guages power lines finished, meth kit needs to be wired, and we need to set up vacuum reference.

Few questions.... Meth and a MAF.... is it okay to spray before the MAF or am i could to have to get custom and drill the nossle into the TB?
..as for reference, so far i have gathered that the 2 wastegates and meth kit need reference before the TB and the BOV and boost guage need reference after the TB (brake booster). Correct?

Thanks!
