Check out the sticky on top and do a search on each topic you want to know. Tons of info on here! The list of what you will need is huge and so will be the price and amount of time involved. What are your goals for the system as well? Street, Strip, ET, RWHP, mild, wild, budget, at any cost, front mount, rear mount, what? Let us know.

Pick a power level, there's a turbo for it.

List the power you want and the $$ you've got to spend; also any restrictions like passing smog or keeping AC.

List a rough idea of what you want and we can give you some ideas to give a place to start your searches. FI setups can get overwhelming at times.

thats what i wanted..i got my turbo but didnt end up cheap and took some time to get it finished.. u can get the same power on stock motor with heads and or cam/bolt on's and spray. i was told to do that at first but i just wanted a turbo and how it sounds. so just make sure u look into it and know whos doing the work and diffrent prices and parts. but its all worth it in the end most of the time

For 500rwhp I would say go with a procharger kit. Or you can go H/C and some N2O. Not saying you couldn't go turbo but the procharger is a nice setup for that amount of Hp and from what I hear is pretty reliable. SC setups tend to be a little cheaper than turbo setups. Not saying SC is always cheaper or anything like that but in general they are. Or you could look at an STS. 500 isn't that much for this crowd but will be very streetable. Either way remember a few things. Fuel: you will need to upgrade the injectors, pump, and possibly lines. Suspension: don't forget the suspension part of your setup. Hp isn't the only thing that you need to get going. Safety requirements to make it NHRA legal if you ever go to the track. Possible rollcage needed? Just things to think about. Yet again MY opinion is if you aren't gonna go with a premium turbo setup then go with the Procharger setup.
