Exactly. Go to a taller 28" tire, which I was using in this video. http://video.ls1tech.com/video/89b2f...a4011bec07.htm Bob

Why would you go to 28" tires if you are going to turn around and install higher gears to bring the RPM back up? Are you looking for more sidewall? Plus, bigger tires = more weight

I would do Both...... go with a 3.73 and a 28" tall tire....
I did do both LOL back when i had a D1-SC kit..
You have more roll out with a 28" tire and sooner or later your going to want to go faster and the 2" the tires give you arent going to be enough.....

What rpm are you topping out through the traps with 4.10's? I personally like motives 3.90's but i believe im gonna go 4.10s anyway. I have same combination as you and my rev limiter is set at 6600

I like the 3.73's for a stock motor/procharger setup. Then we change the valve springs and move the rev limiter to 6500rpm. 4.11's I think only go to 115-117mph in the quarter with 26" tall tires at 6200rpm.

A 28" tall tire has more surface contact. Think of it this way with these two circles. oO
A 28" tall tire also shocks the surface much less, as the larger sidewall takes up a lot of the initial shock, meaning you won't be as apt to lose traction off the line. Bob

I have 3.73's and 27" inch tires and still have about 300-400 rpms left in fourth when I cross the traps. I have always wondered what 4.11's would do for my car... Sure wish I would have got them when I ordered my 12 bolt.
