Those of you that have center mount turbos......how are you supporting the dead weight?
Good question. Where are you guys with center front mounts supporting the weight from?

The starter is the least of the clearance issues. Getting past the mount seemed like the biggest challenge. Once past the mount you can start pitching the DP towards the frame and around the starter before it heads toward the trans.

I don't see why the K-member company's don't make a DP conversion mount! Hint, Hint!!

I really need to see if my UMI can be customized to fit a 4" DP. I am considering buying a PA to accomidate one if not.

I noticed their site gives several options for mounts and what not. If I were to go with a PA....What options should I select? I will be using some solid mounts too BTW.

Finished a prototype mount tonight which couldn't have worked out any better. I also plan on TIG'ing on a hanger bracket to support the 4" pipe on the final one.

I am waiting for some moly plate to show up for the final mount and then send it to the powder coater so it matches the K-member.

On to the next issue!

I thought about doing that for my stock K-member. A little more room never hurts.

It's Steve SPOHN's piece!

I have had a few people inquire about this mount but want to wait until I'm "piped" past it before I produce another one. Just in case I want to add some more features to it! LOL!

Good Job on the setup. How is that mount coming along?

Since it was asked before and not answered how are the center mounts supporting the weight of the turbo?

My buddy has the UMI k member, and to fit a 4" downpipe they had to modify the k-member.
