Still plodding along slowly with my Jag. My uncle and I cut up a CTS-V pan and welded in some new plate aluminum to clear the Jag's steering rack. My forged HPE shortblock is now almost a long block. After an engine test fit this week I will be installing the radiator, measuring, and buying a turbo or two. My new year resolution:

To be burning gas and tire in 2007!!

I'm curious about that. Did you raise the engine up?

Street tuning is done on mine. Forged 347, incon twins, etc, etc. No idea about the power level but it sure is fun to drive on the street and listen to that BOV go off when I shift!!! car startup video in sig.

PTK kit with a 76GTS.... 1800 miles on the setup, 1K of them over 12psi and 500 or so at 15.5psi. Shortblock by HPE with TEA heads and a comp custom grind. I haven't moved to 2/3 bar yet so I'm blind from about 9ish psi up to max boost. I only got one pull on the dyno (car ate the belt) and couldn'tr really make boost... It was rich enough for 16.5-17.5 psi but only made 10#s. The car put down 589rwhp/575RWtq (M6, dynojet, 10bolt) through a shitty Hooker catback with no cutout at richer than 9.9:1 at that 10psi though so I was very pleased.

I need to get a flexplate this week and I'll have everything to drop in the th400/RMVB/brake. The 12-bolt will go in at the same time. I need to install my Wolfe 6pt bar (bad) and need to get the cutout under the car. I need to buy big-n-lils. I want the Madman manual rack.

Last night we got the STS kit on the car. This week I will be installing the racetronix harness with the walbro 255, and my gauges. I'll have some pictures up soon of how well the turbo tucked up. I will be experimenting with low boost settings for now until I burn through my header coating.

This is my first FI setup, so it should be fun

I put a new stall in (pro yank 3400) in December and it was too tight for me plus it was way overkill for my application so I got it changed to a 3800, its looser but the shift extensions and the hit is where i want it to be.

Added a MSD BAP and have to run a wire to it to give it juice and ground it.
May and probably will set up regulator as boost referenced.
Then I'm gonna retune it again and then go click some new passes on my worn BFG tires. May tune it in speed density.

Want to do a slightly smaller pulley to bring in boost faster. Also want to add nitrous.

Down the pike is maybe a 6 pt bolt in cage since tracks are getting stricter and a thicker rear street sway bar..

Need to get some big n littles on this car.

Hope my 10 bolt holds up!

Well,

Got car back from LS1SpeedInc

They did the 2bar SD conversion with swap to PP Stage 3 LS6 68cc chambered heads...

They also freshened up the TH400 and the converter..........

Feels really good even @ 9PSI.....but now I have a glitch in my fuel pressure (drops in PSI every once in a while on startup, for a milisecond, and then goes back to normal just cruising around town, hasn't ever happened to me on a WOT blast)....sooooo I'm gonna have to drop the tank, pull them out and inspect the wiring harness, hoses/lines...and crap...ohhh what fun

Car is waiting for the fuel pump assembly to arrive (dual walbro intank) as well as my PCM to get back from Craig to utilize the EFIlive Roadrunner setup! Once those items arrive I can get to work on putting the fuel system in (-8an feed/-6an return, nasty rails, BRFPR) that way I can start it up to make sure all is well.

Now I just have to buy a laptop to tune with

Getting really close though!

Just starting the on the turbo aspect, though I have most of the parts. GT47-88 with an A2W intercooler (using a GT47-88 for class rules) LS2-based 366" engine with ETP 225 heads (9:1 compression)

Been concentrating on the chassis first (cage, wheelie bars, suspension, etc)

Putting SFI 25.5 cage in right now (7.50 ET cert)
Motor plates and midplate are installed
Griffin radiator is installed vertically
Parts for custom-built 1 3/4 Stainless headers are ordered
Belt-driven fuel system is here (Along with a custom ATI damper to drive it)

I plan to trying to push the turbo to its limits (1300-1400 fwhp)
