How about everyone give updates on their setups?
Well one thing led to another and I took it off the road about 4 months ago at the 900 mile mark with the new 383.
Now the car has a braked TH400, Vig 4000 stall, ac&ps delete, abs/tcs delete, Stenod 6pt roll bars, spooled 9" from DLS, BMR trak pak, Madman Offset LCA's, Spohn panhard rod, Spohn Drag sway bar, QA1 double adj front shocks and single adj. rears, 300# front springs, weight saving mods here and there, 28X10.5-15 ET Drags, 15X10 and 15X4.5" Prostars, 2step box, Versa Fueler, 75# inj, and were going to max out the D1sc on race gas.
Should be on the dyno by the middle of next month at the latest! I cant wait to see what she does at BMP.
. Guy scuffed the rear bumper and the tailight. luckily all the information was gathered for me when i got there and i filed my claim. Doesnt look like there is a lot of damage, just looks like it needs to be re painted which is good. The guy was nice and he was sorry and said everything would get taken care of smoothly. Just one more thing to add to the headache

The car is currently at Extreme Performance and should be done sometime this spring.
Car is made to go xcountry, drag racing and road racing. I enjoy that I can do anything I want with it and it performs all the way around.
Now i gotta get this fuel press problem taken care of and I'll be in good shape. (for now)
I was going to build a single turbo drag radial car, but now I think im just going to go ahead and 3/4 chassis the car and run outlaw 10.5 with the 98 camaro I have stripped down and ready for cage work. It will be an all aluminum small block with twin 88's. I gotta run 6.80's to be competitive. Wish me luck!

I am now saving for wet shot and will have it done by spring time. hopefully sooner, I want to get a set of big n littles for a sinister look.

Promod i say build a drag radial car, that is the most exciting class out there.

Just kidding.I agree with it being the most exciting, but the way I would build the car, It would almost cost about the same to go ahead and 3/4 it. Plus I can build a 3/4 chassis faster.
From a motor stand point, Its almost the same engine, just twin 88's instead of a 106 or 114 so that cost isnt much more.
The local drag radial stuff is run on friday nights with the regular street cars, the outlaw stuff is run on saturdays where the track prep is way better, and the payout is twice as much.
Its a hard decision. I love drag radial.
