Default How about everyone give updates on their setups?

iam not sure about everyone else but i usually wonder how everyones car is running. like if theyve had problems, how its running, last track times, stuff they've added, last dyno sheets, opinions of what they need (like faster, nitrous ect.) stuff liek that. it would be good reference for people running the same setups etc.

please write even if ur car isnt finished yet!

just make it short and sweet, ill go first:

2002 Camaro ss
"hi-flo kit" its about 80% finished, write now im finishing up my dual intank fuel system. i keep running into stupid little problems liek the turbo still hasnt come yet and i have to run the wires from the engine and alt. to the trunk. just stuff like that.

i dont have that much to write cause im not finished but im sure guys who cars are running have some good updates, lets hear them! it should be pretty interesting

I really hadnt planned on anything, but ended up with a set up. Not an F-body though.
We just put a 5.3 in a '92 GMC with a big cam, just for fun.
Here is an idle vid. (sorry about the effects, we took an easy way to hide the plate)
http://s140.photobucket.com/albums/r...idleandrev.flv
Now I am already pulling the motor to install a forged 347, 8.9:1 with 6.0 heads, STS with a PT74, fmic, and meth. We are of course not using the 110lsa cam. We are using a grind we use alot with the turbo cars we do.
This set up was in a 5300lb truck and went 12's. Mine is 4000lb and I will be running a little more boost. Going to do whatever I can to get in the 10's

Hi-flo installed but kept running into small problems preventing us from tuning it. When we were finally ready to tune it the turbo took a **** and its at Precision being repaired now. Built motor, fuel system, built driveline, etc.

Never really talked about mine but thats because i'm still parts gathering and reading and learning. Actually up until a few months ago I was almost done. At first it was going to be a truck manifold kit with a 70ish mm turbo with Vic Jr EFI manifold / 90mm TB on a basically stock bottom end with 317's and a decent size turbo cam with a stall and stock auto trans and stock rear.

Then along came the Precision 101....which seriously changed the project....so now i'm working on getting an iron block and throwing some good parts in it. I just bought a 1400 + horse capable Th400. And I already sumped the stock tank and have the whole fuel system together and ready.

So if anyone knows someone selling an iron block for a decent price thats maybe local send em my way! This is all going in my 93 Trans Am. Sooner or later. I buy what I can each month and its working good so far. FI is @&*ing expensive. Good thing i'm already many thousands in the savings thanks to LS1Tech parts for sale!

About 30% on mine. Got the controller schematics done and started to put together the first version on some perf board. Haven't really been updating the build thread because there is nothing very exciting going on right now.

Well, im on the beginning stages of my build, i.e, "turbo-part hoarding"

but here is a brief overlook into my plans:
Iron block
6.0 heads-ported
forged rods and pistons
Maf-T Pro SD w/ HPT

and as far a turbo...Im still up in the air a bit about that as Im reading up on the s400 and Im trying to find out what vehicles they came in besides Mack's. But in the end it will be based around 88mm's.

Mine is running, made 867rwhp on the dyno last time. I did have a problem initially, valvetrain problems. I had the springs and rockers changed. Car was blown a year ago, now it's turbo charged with a 88mm T6 turbo. Went 9.8@141mph because I didn't realize that the turbo setup would be so different from the blower setup on the launch.

It's now winter up here.

News in the spring.

My car has been and still is running, no issues. I drive it ~100 miles a week dedepending on weather, at anywhere from 850- 1000 rwhp depending on whats in the tank, no problems.

Been down the track twice, almost ate wall at teh 1/8 both times. Did some suspension work. Need traction. Its much easier to handle on teh street now, need to return to the track!

TTi street kit is for sale.

I picked up cablebandit's incon kit, so looking forward to putting that on this spring. It will be going on a stock bottom end engine, TR224/224 on a 112, stock 6.0 heads. Hoping for 525 rwhp no meth, maybe 560 with meth.

If things go real well a forged 346 will be going in this fall.

Right now the car is put away; as PSJ said its winter here.

You are one of the elite that have a turbo setup with no problems. If it were that easy I would have finished my build. Instead I have decided to go with a custom mount Procharged setup. May take a little longer, but should be worth it.

2000 Z28 in the sig. Just your basic combo:

370ci 8.5:1
TU1 cam 225/225 581/581 113
Ported and polished 6.0L heads
LS6 intake and TB
My very own cutom 6.0L manifold setup
TC76MPS turbo
TH400 w/T-brake
Yank 3000 stall
UMI suspension
Moser 9 inch w/3.25 gears
17x9 and 17x10 Chrome ZR1 with 315BFG DR's on the rear

After I get it wrapped up I am gonna strap on the T88 and see what it will do. Then move on to a fult tube header setup with a 91.5mm turbo . I love owning my own shop turbo now. Everything is a TAX write off.
