It all depends on the manufacture and what they rate them at. We rate them whatever their catalog may say, whether its true or not.

For those that are interested as well. Some of the S-series units will be offered with Billet compressor covers as well for lighter weight savings and even more custom tricks we will CNC into them. I am working with BWA engineering now on making some advances on difuser volume and some changes that are worth quite a few ponies in the future. Just sit tight and things will start to appear soon.

LOL, the good thing is the smaller S-series units are modular, so almost ALL parts can be swapped out for larger or smaller ones as upgrades . No more having to sell your turbo and buying a whole different turbo, and then have to upgrade all the piping as well.

Also the good thing is, by next month, if all goes well, ALL S-series units should be in stock at all times

Some of the thumper frame S-series will get some upgrades. We plan to have the larger comp wheels available soon, but comp covers have been a nightmare to have casted in a timely manner.

Update: S85's are now on the shelf and the new S88's with the high flow slip covers like the S85's will be available in 2 weeks. Both use the newest comp wheel design.

The billet wheels are coming soon, also the billet covers will be after. Billet units will be a little more expensive due to material costs.

Also the new S85's and S88's will spool about 100rpms sooner then the older units. The new comp assembly is several grams lighter now. We are trying to make them as responsive as possible, for even our craziest road racing customers.
