Default True 3" Dual Side Exit Twin Turbo!

Hey guys, I had been planning this exhaust setup for awhile and had it done up this past summer. Finally getting around to sharing with you guys. As mentioned. It's 3" pipes coming right off the twin 3" turbo downpipes going under the car and into the cab then 90 degree out the sides. I fabbed aluminum heat panels which are not done yet. I'm going to take them off and have them chromed. I'm running 3.5" race baffles for mufflers as the turbos quiet the exhaust already. It has a healthy exhaust note at idle and 3500rpm+ the thing sounds like a big block open header dragster. And not to mention it reduced the backpressure from my previous SLP loudmouth down to zero. I'm thinking about trimming the tips in a little. Let me know what ya think. Unique isn't it??

Looks like the Offset to your front tires is off a bit.

Offset it the same. I am not running the corner ties under the bumper so it sits out a bit wider.

The pics I was waiting for, yep, that's pretty cool and unique, chrome will look much better and match with your wheels, but not a big fan of the headlights tho. You invested quite a lot of money in that car man, keep up the good work!

Neat idea, I think cutting them closer to the body would help the looks.

All aspects of this setup were researched before I did it. There is no way to have the tips come out at the side skirts because the body has no sharp angle, it rounds off and that's where the rear frame starts so it's all structural there. If you take your sideskirt off you will see that the body is just as low as the skirt is-the skirt just gives a lower appearance because it provides a shaper contrast to the ground. There's no clearance to have an exhaust hanging down another 3", also my car is lowered 3". Had to go into the car and back out. I'm thinking about having it redone and using dual 4" pipes and then having the tip just 1.5-2" out instead of 4" out.

Sorry, no undercar shots.

haha, I hear ya man. You can't have any doubts about it if you're going to do it. You gotta commit to making it turn out the way you want it. Sometimes it comes out right, sometimes it takes alot of work but there's no backing out once there's a 3" hole in your car.

great idea

if anything, trim it flush, and then paint the piece surrounding it to match the body. it would then be even more so

Please cut the tips down, there sticking out way way to much...All race cars have them sitting almost FLUSH with the metal heat sheilds.

Yours is way to far out, other wise I love the idea, just a bit sorter!

There a fine line between function over forum, and tacky...but I like what your doing just sorter
