Cog Pulley - way noisier or not?

Tomorrow my V-2 SQ T-trim will get here and I'll start the switch from the S-trim.
The T-trim is a heavy duty version so I could go to a cog setup, but I'm concerned about the noise. My car is (supposed to be - exhaust is too rumbley right now) a sleeper and I don't want a loud blower whine, which is why I stuck with the SQ-superquiet version.
Does the cog setup add a lot of noise? If so, is it whiny, or a whirring sound or what? Instant giveaway?
My S-trim is only really noticeable when it hasn't warmed up yet, and on decceleration. I'd like to keep it that way, but the cog sure takes care of belt slippage issues.
Anything else I should know about cog drives - pluses or minuses?

cog setup will make your car sound more like a blower on a hot rod. you'll be more snappier in response and might get more boost due to no belt slippgage.
