What the real price of getting BS3 FI system on the car.
Does the computer come with an ls1 harness or do i have to purchase it seperatly. It is part of a motor swap.

I’ve seen such crazy pricing differences between vendors that I have no idea, who's got the best price?

 

it comes with the harness and everything, really good system, easy to hook up.

 

it will depend, however, since i opted to run a 4l80e elec. with the bs3, my price was over 3k. Not much but around there. I also got the data logging option which you can elect not to get.

 

i'll be running a PG so don't need tranny controls.

Anyone know who has the best price?

BS3 has a lot of different options and configurations so the price varies greatly. LS1 specific is higher then the universal boxes. W2W has some good pricing and keeps them in stock as well.

i haven't been able to get a hold of the guys at W2W but can anyone vouch for sure about it coming with a ls1 harness?

What do you guys think the inportant options are?
I know i want the internal datalogging but not sure what else is offered.

 

It comes with a complete LS1 harness that plugs into all OEM sensors. I'm sure you could order it without a harness if you really wanted

 

On an item like this I wouldn't let price alone sway your decision. Buy it from someone who has the experience and customer support to help you get where you need to be.

 

I have a local tuner who knows the system well, my main concern is buying the system and finding out i still have to spend an additional 1k-1500 to get it to turn over.

 

You won't have to, I got mine from Ls1Speed but W2W will offer better support and it will cost about the same

 

I have thought several time about selling my New/Never used EFI Live/RoadRunner setup($1500) to buy a BS3 system. I know that right now the setup I have will do what I need. My problem is, I can never leave a car alone to long and will soon need low impedence injectors. I guess I could always get a injector driver...

Anyhow, W2W is the place to go for the BS3 systems.

 

BS3-004-003 2,295 LS1 system std. Includes harness for LS1, software and wide band 02
BS3-004-004 2,495 LS1 system with internal data logger. This has the same parts as 003 with addition of data logger.

Why does BS3 have the system and logger seperately?

Its not seperate, its just an added option and its built in the box. If you dont want it you dont have to pay for it.
