I am not sure what Joel did with rad pipe. I only got hot parts and radiator....not a whole kit so I was on my own there. I am about to let the car run and hit a couple of spots with a temp gun to see whats reall hot or not. My coolant hose looks closer in the pic than it is. Ill try to get another today.

how hard is it to change the plugs though, can you get them off without removing the headers?

A/c will be fine...no worries there...I can heat tape it if needed.
ABS block...I dont have one but the OFI dyno thread shows the abs block being in the same general area as stock. That same guy has been driving his a week now and the only issue he said he had was air in the cooling system. Once he got that out, no prob.
Ill try to get a pic of the boot protectors today.

Care to elaborate on what items baked with the incons

Looks great Jerry, I bet you are as eager as me to have the car running

I put my plugs in after the hot parts were all on, the pass. side is easy-all from the bottom. The driver side- 5 & 7 from the bottom and 1 & 3 from the top...if I remember right #3 was a b!tch because of the downpipe. And I think I used a box wrench for all of them.

Bowtieman....anything you get real close to the incon manifolds....i had vacuum lines and wires running all over and had to just watch where i ran them. Gotta make sure to keep the wire loom that runs down by the heater box away from the manifolds.

Condenser is behind the radiator....between the radiator and engine. Just idling today in the garage (where my a/c works least efficiently) the temp in my garage was 78ish and the air out of the a/c vents was 42ish degrees so it should be fine there.

Nasty, I am not too fond of MSD wires myself. I think I will try something different if these dont work out. I saw some late model ls2 wires that had right angle spark plug boots...that might work well for this setup

Plug access.....dunno yet.....it looks like its gonna be about a 30 minute job. Maybe less since it looks like you can get at least 4 from the bottom easily.

filter breather i think i got from speedinc

That looks really nice! I'm really curious what she'll do with that turbo, that is a t6 flange, right? BTW, it looks like you'll need a sunglasses just to take a peek under that hood.

I remember running a 3-4-5 gear pull against a Gixxer 750 with the cutouts closed (turbo seemed to run quite a bit hotter-more backpressure), and in the middle of 5th with the motor loaded up and the turbos working hard I noticed a smoke of some sort coming through the console dispersing into the cabin.

Never had the problem with the cutouts open.

Mind you I was doing better than 160mph, thats a LOT of wind that SHOULD have aired things out underneath.....apparently not. This just gives you an idea of how hot things get down there.

I thought the S688 was rated for closer to 2k, not the t4 flanged unit.
