Hood is a VFN Sunoco. LMK if you need any other angles or whatnot.

Can anyone explain a little more in detail how they made the stock puller fans work on the Griffin radiator? I have stock LT1 fans and am trying to figure out how to mount them on the radiator after cutting the shroud to fit. Does anyone know if the vertical radiator along with stock puller fans will still give enough room for the huron speed turbo kit? I know you don't need the pushed back vertical radiator for the huron speed kit but I already had my rad support notched and radiator bought before going that route. Finally, I have a LT1 radiator cap and it doesn't seem like to great of a fit on the griffin. Is the LT1 cap the same as the 98-02 cap? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

After looking at it more, im just going to ditch the stock shroud. Then make a custom shroud and bolt the fans to that.

Looks great. I never understood why some guys cut almost the whole top support piece out when they can just do what you did and it looks a ton better by hiding it underneath.

Thanks man. I don't get it either. I didn't even have to cut the bottom support.

@nx88 I did my radiator very similar to yours, i cut a hole instead of notching the support for the cap though.

I initially cut a hole, but do to the placement of my wastegate. I had to notch it. I didn't want to have to remove my wastegate every time I needed to remove the rad. Next I'm going to find some nice rubber trim and outline that notch.

I dont think i will have a choice, ill have 2 RG45s sitting pretty close to the radiator plus the drivers side turbo will have to be removed also. :-/ o well.. let me know where you find some trim. i want to trim the hole i cut out along with some other things.

Are you trying to find rubber trim for a certain size hole?

@ Justin, no just trying to find some rubber trim to outline the cut...nothing specific. @Allout, I have a buddy that might have access to some. I will find out next week.

well the floor was a big pain in the *** and not worth it at all, every time the floor sweats it bubbles and comes up we used a chalk line; concrete has to breath so I definitely would recommend something that will allow the concrete to breath like tile, or that expensive *** tile lock system.

As for the radiator cap, I had to notch the core support to be able to get the radiator in and out easily.
