As for the radiator cap, I had to notch the core support to be able to get the radiator in and out easily.
ah....i c. i looked into the tile stuff. its gonna be like $1700 **** that. Grey epoxy and sprinkle kit it is! Thanks man

Ended up moving the radiator forward to make room for air filter. I am running the cobra hat for now till i get a 90 degree elbow. I just needed something so i could take the car for a ride it has been a long winter.

Cut the top first so i could keep the hood latch in factory location.

Here the top part of the core is patched to fill the holes from cutting the core support.

Nice, so you just come out the front with the engine then? I got away with not needing to cut my radiator support this time, but I'll keep something like that in mind for future use.

yes I pull engine thru the top, you can pull your engine without cutting core support, I pull trans and engine same time thru top. you could do a removeable brace and still retain most parts.
I like the super clean look what I was shooting for. Just a thanks for others posting their pics gave me some ideas how to do mine with my twist.

This is mine, not pefect by any means but this was my first time doing any kind of work like this. I used a plasma cutter to cut out the center and welded in some metal plates, then used fiberglass and body filler to do the rest. I am going to tack weld some inch and half square stock to the lip on the bottom of the rad support to keep it level and hold it in place on the bottom, on the top I have an aluminum bracket.

Yes that should work ,looks like both radiator hoses will be on pass side .I used the 25241-x like most others which is 3" thick and a few bucks cheaper both hoses on oppisite side of each other.

Ya that's the I have right now but my new turbo location puts the air filter right in front of the upper hose so I need one that has both hoses on the passenger side
