EDIT: I see the turbo now in your pic and the distance to the radiator. I think your turbo blanket threw me off.

It will be a tight fit either way with pullers, but can be done, I just got sick of looking for ones too work, so I through on the 2 spal pushers knowing that would do it... I believe there these ones http://m.summitracing.com/parts/spu-ix-30102040

A1 electric sells um for like 100 each but they are always on backorder

Nice. Well, with running a larger T6 flange, and running my turbo hotter with the much higher boost levels, even if I could manage to fit the puller style, I think it would be wiser to run the pusher style like you have, as I have a feeling the plastic puller fans would melt that close to a hot turbo.

Thanks again for your time, pictures and info! When I get closer to this point on my build, I may hit you up.

I ran one of my pullers with the the fan motor About 1/2 in from my turbo befor I had a blanket, no melting or anything, as for yours being a t6 and mine being a t4 doesn't mean much when measuring for fitment since the s400 frames are same size(and that's the biggest part of the turbo) I'd expect about the same for clearance on the hot side as mine still tho considering my blanket makes my t4 a little bigger... unless your running a blanket on your t6 as well?

Then plan for about a inch less of clearance,

This doesn't mean you couldn't run pullers still, you dont need to mount the radiator in the core support like mine, you can move it further forward (just requires fab work and does not look as clean)

If you choose to move it forward look under forced induction forum and "firebird s480turbo build" <I believe that's what the title is, he just moves his radiator further forward and is running a s400 with pullers,he could help with what fab work he did.

Let me know if you need any tips, im not a expert but I went through a lot of diff fan setups before findings one I was happy with so I can at least try to help steer you in the right direction.

The same griffin everyone uses. I don't have the part number handy but this one has 1-1/2" tubes instead of cheaper one with 1" tubes.

Huron alt kit and I actually changed the belt yesterday. I think it ended up being a 73.5" but I'm not 100% sure.

Are you running a shroud? Also, what fans do you have?

Fans are stock fans off a ford contour v6. They are built into a shroud. Got the idea from another member. a little trimming and they for great and they are pretty slim.

This is an awesome thread. I can't believe I've never been in here before. I have a 89 T/A that I cut the lower radiator support out and shoved a 31x19 radiator in straight up. I've been kicking around the idea of a LS turbo swap and all the idea's I've gotten from this thread has pretty much convinced me.
