Those of you that have run the 1-25241-X, do you need to weld a steam vent port? im seeing mixed answers.

If so, what are you using to make one?

I still need to finish the coolant tubing. I'm just waiting on a few pieces to come back.
Can I get the schematic for the custom rad?

Here is mine. This would not work for the front turbo's, but is ok for other applications. I found this used radiator on the internet. Fits perfect between the frame rails. Don't have to cut the front support. I fabbed a cross support that the radiator sits in. It had aluminum mounting studs on the bottom (and top) so I used some rubber donuts on the bottom and a couple of steel straps with rubber grommets for the top. The top tube was on the wrong side, but that's what cutters and hose adapters for. It has dual Spal fans and still clears the water pump on a truck style accessory setup.

Need more hoses

What was the reason for doing this with a blower setup?
Couldn't you have just left it in the factory location and saved yourself a bunch of work?

I'm still wondering if I can make something work where I have a puller fan. Just don't like the idea of pushers, and I want to do a junkyard crawl and find a PWM fan to install to save myself some cash.

If you push the radiator farther forward in the nose you can make them fit.
I've seen plenty of guys put the radiator in front of the core support to fit puller fans, it just gets a little tight with an A2A in there too.
I've got twin pushers on my stood-up radiator setup now and have no issues controlling temps.

Sorry to dig this one back up but first time seeing it. Thanks for the pics everyone!. I'm debating on:

Griffin 15 x 27.5 (1-58241-XLS) and completely cutting the bottom support so that I can drop it enough to push it all the way forward and not have to modify the top support (just cut the areas around the sides) similar to the pic below but completely cutting the bottom support to allow the rad to be pushed all the way to the hood release mechanism. This will allow for space with dual Chevy volt 12 brushless pullers and a shroud, but then a custom mount will have to be made for the air deflector.

The other option is a custom 13" x 27 rad with same specs as the Griffin above, which will allow me to retain part maybe even all of the bottom support and not have to modify the deflector. This is a 18% reduction in surface area vs the Griffin above.

I'm running the same size Griffin radiator in my car not that part # but the other one with the straight bottom outlet but otherwise the same radiator. I'm gonna throw a Davies Craig EWP 150 onto the lower rad hose as a booster pump to the mechanical pump. I run Delta pag brushless pushers that are 4200 CFM combined.

My temps aren't too bad while I'm moving along it's the sitting in traffic part where temps start going to like 210ish and more or less stay there until I hit the highway and it'll come right down to 185ish

Those temps are pretty good considering they are pushers. Going to try and get these 12" pullers in there.

I'd like to see it a bit more consistent and lower temp. The fans move huge air but the stock water pump doesn't move chit at idle. I mean if I'm not liking what I see then I'll move my radiator forward to get pullers in there
