Today we decided to go with a BMR K member to make more room for the downpipe so it won't have to have any crimps in it. More pics coming soon. Car is also getting started today for the first time. Stay tuned.

Thanks! I am not sure why my air intake tube is installed so differently than turbo ls1ss maybe because I did not want to lose my foglight? Maybe the air filter is in a better location anyway since it is protected from water better in this location? Take a look at how turbols1's filter is installed?

Yea it looks smashed, but they know what they are doing it must still flow a assload of air. I don't think anyone else has had problems sucking water, but I don't think anyone has driven in wet conditons either. I have not talked to them about the oil dipstick it looks like they bent a custom sleeve for a new flexible dipstick I took one pic of the sleeve you can see it hugging the block on its way up.

I drove my car through a damn monsoon on the way back from Charlotte Aurofair and didnt have any trouble. Why did they smash the hell out of it all you have to do is remove a little more material. Honestly that is retarted to smash it. I used a braided stainless dipstick for mine and bolted it where the stock one goes.

Also we ended up cutting off and rewelding the WG flange on the header and drilled out WG mounting holes so they go all the way through and tapped them and it fits awesome now.

We cut the WG flange off the header since it was sitting low and crooked. Then we built up the weld to get the flange the correct height and level. After that we noticed that the bolts we had were bottoming out in the threaded holes on the header so we drilled them through and tapped them so that the bolts could tighten all the way down and not bottom out. The dipstick was a lokar.

i understand exactly what u said, but any chance i can get a picture? did u haev to shave away the powdercoat to re-weld it? also why not just cut the bolts to make them not bottom out? as a side note uve been driving the car right? how is it? anything burn from being to close to parts like PS lines?

Parts seem to be doing ok thusfar. I need to re-wrap my steering shaft since my wrap came off. The flange on my header was no level so when you bolted the WG down it was tilted backwards and was interfering with it hooking up right. I'll try to get a pic later today but it doesnt look that different.

I guess they tried the intake pipe every which way and to install it without putting a dent in it they would of had to cut where it supports the fender and it would of made it unstable. Anyway they say the flow is not compromised much at all. Thats good old 4" pipe there. Now we are waiting for the new BMR k member and then they will finish with a custom downpipe 3" no dimples or crimps and finish the A/C on the car then it should be done.

heater lines are run like factory. Nick got the downpipe to clear them. We put heat wrap on them. They are fabing a new downpipe with v bands you can get to for plug changes.
