You are pretty much there, at least you know what its capable of now. Maybe just creep up on it a little slower next time lol. I hate days like yesterday though, I was tempted to swap pulleys and speed it up a little but I had a mission..
Kp, you are right, i now know its capable of doing what i want....I was TRYING to sneak up on it...just had no idea the boost would go that high.....good thing the timing was low. Tomorrow I will pull that wastegate spring out and put in the 11psi spring that i have. The 1.32 housing did surprisingly welll......once i take the time to work on the tune down low, i think it will be perfect

I use a tial knockoff bov and wg. Joel uses the real thing when he supplies a kit. The knockoffs work fine but you dont know what spring you are getting in either. I had to trim a coil off the bov to get it right and SHOULD have installed the 11psi spring in the wastegate i have before i ever started the car but didnt hoping the supplied spring would be even lower.
Next passes will be in the same 1/4 et range i imagine with appropriate 330' and 1/8 times. My slip should look like
1.49
4.12 330
6.33 @111
9.85@ 140
the pass i did run had a 330' that equates to around a high 9.3 1/4 and a 1/8 that equates to a mid 9.5 1/4.......i wont planning on running that much boost again for a bit though as i want to sneak back up on it.

It drives NICE off boost and better gas mileage.Al i am gonna run the next step colder i think which is a 9322 i think...autolite. I got 9323 i think now. I am gonna run some el cheapo oil thru it for about 5 minutes to make sure any water or condensation is gone and then back to synthetic.
I looked at the headers/flanges etc and no leaks/cracks....thats really good news
I've got some 6.3's that were all in the 9's... my 5.9 and 6.0 passes were all like 9.40 - 9.6's.
the ones he had changed to on last motor were non-projected version of the same gasket seat plugs...same heat range...
NGK 4554 (or R5671A-8) is the number...
Jerry, I have these on-hand...OR...I can have either of the two mentioned by kp & MM today if I know before 2pm...
the non-projected R5671A's are available in heat ranges 7-11
the projected tip R5672A's are available in heat ranges 8-10

4554 and 7173 are 0.750 reach....stock is 0.708 reach...does the gasket design make up the difference?
I'm going to try NGK RS724-8 (7317) if the BP's don't work at 18psi.
even the 7173 has a non-racing designated plug in a heat range of 7...
of the plugs discussed...the R5671A ("non-projected") is the only one that all heat ranges, 7-11, are designated as race plugs...I can only assume it is due to it's "non-projectedness"
also, of the plugs discussed, the group that the 7173 is in is the only group designated as projected...
although the TR5,TR6,BP7EFS and 7317 are not listed as a projected design, look at the difference between them and the 4554...
the pic in the old thread is a TR6 (4177) side by side w/ the 4554
