gasket seats in heat range of 7:

BP7EFS (3526) same projection as the TR6's

BKR7E (6097) designated as projected

R5671A-7 (4091) "non-projected" like the -8's you ran before (the one on the left)

great news on the other side! gonna run the same GMPP gaskets?

I've always been told that at that level of power, picking up the tires is the easy job...it's keeping them down that is harder to do and more important in lowering the ET...

Nasty...everyone is different as far as what they like. For max effort on mine and your setups, i think a tr6 is too hot. I like the wot performance of the "tr8" but not the idle. Since we both drive ours a lot, I think the "tr7" is a good compromise. Thats 2 steps colder than stock. I think KP still uses the tr6 heat range....not sure but i bet he will chime in. He doesnt like to run his car in the heat and i do which is why i want to drop down a heat range...hotter IATs. This is all just my opinion...btw

Actually I run -8 NGK racing plugs in the AFR heads, forget the number, with the dart heads I used the AR3911s or 3922s.

You wont foul out -8s unless you are driving around at 10:1 a/f.

ahh...the -8 ngk didnt foul...just idled rough. Also when it was cold and tranny went into lockup, it would misfire. tr6 fixed that so i am gonna try in between i think...i got the 3923 from one of your posts and thats what i have now but i THINK its the same heat range as tr6...if its closer to a -7, ill keep them...time to go plug reading on the net

AL...wtf...looks like the autolite 3923 i have now crosses to a BPR8ES ngk...if that is a -8 heatrange...ill just keep using these. Is that a -8 heat range? Its all so confusing. If its a -8...wonder why they idle so much better than the ngk -8 i had unless its a projected tip vs no issue

I have run 3911's, and TR8's, all got the job done. I am running different plugs with the AllPro heads, I forget which ones.
