Default On average what kind of timing are the turbo guys running?

On a built motor 8.5:1 with the AF around 11.5:1 what kind of timing are you guys running? Where does it peak and lower by high RPMs?

thanks

I know I'm just trying to get an idea of where my timing should be at. I'm running a 383 with #12, pump. Since the knock sensors are turned way down do to false knock I want to see where I should be around without getting knock.

Are you guys running the same timing across the board or different timing at lower (before full turbo spool) rpms???

I thought I read somewhere that higher timing before turbo fully spools will help with lag and spool it a bit quicker...

Anyone have any expertise on this?

Not trying to jack thread...think the original post was answered already...

Cylinder pressure will be high at peak torque....so most people run less timing there and ramp it back in by a few degress or so afterwards.
