The heads will be ET performance and All Pro on these engines. The warhawk stuff is really made for there block, and it is not legal in the races so we have not researched those heads much.
Matt, the engines are going to need some special parts that make timing hard to predict, but you will be here when we start burning fuel!

I know ET performance is currently making heads for the LSX blocks but I guess your saying that All Pro is also making LSX heads (23 bolt) too??

Both of them are making the heads with the extra 8 bolts. I have not seen the ET's yet, but I don't think it will be long.

so currently the only 6 bolt per cylinder heads for the lsx block are the ET's,All Pro's, and thats it. All Pro has been making ls heads for about two years now.

ET and All Pro both have heads coming that are 6 bolt, they both have been selling 4 bolt LS heads for about 2 years. GM had a set of heads at SEMA on the 69 Camaro that had the outer bolt cast in, so I think we will see something from them soon.

I am sure you will see many different bore combinations used. We picked the size we did based on all needs of the engine as we see them now. I love this block, but I am not convinced yet that we can make all the power we want without head gasket issues. The distance between the studs that run top to bottom has not changed, so the material between cylinders is still important to me. We will be making more power with less material between cylinders, so caution here is warranted. The other thing is you can always bore them bigger, but boring them smaller is tough-LOL. Also we are dealing with turbo engines, we can make 6 second power on a 4 inch bore, so cubic inch still has to be tempered with overall balance/durability.

These engine blocks are going to take a different stud kit on the heads, as well as head gaskets that are special. It should all be available soon, and we sell all the parts to build the engine as well as complete and partial engines.
