I would have to say ...price and acceptance in the NMCA/GM LSX races.

The World is not legal for racing and is double the cost. It will have a place in fast street cars when it comes out.

It will be awhile as we are still collecting the parts for the builds. We still don't have any cylinder heads in hand yet so that we can order pistons, but we have head gaskets and studs figured out, so we are getting there!!

I still remember when we did it and my boss asked "whats next"!! We are trying to bring the engine up to a more reliable point, and will be running in drag radial and 10.5 outlaw in our local races to find the spots that need help/strength. The current economy in Michigan is weak, so we are doing development on our guys cars and engines. My Dart block engine will be running sometime this year and will be trying some things to push the engine forward. One of our LSX block engines is owned by Billy Briggs, he is our engine build leader/manager, and we have some testing planned for this engine also. So to answer whats next, it depends on personal funding and time, but we are driven car guys so things will happen.

I saw Toms crew at work one night... it even involved little Asian men showing up at 3 in the morning in some riced out import to consult on the Nitrous installation.... LOL... sorry Tom...but that night at APE was , well, different.

As always Kurt, Nice work! I heard the economy there has shuttered badly in recent times. You can count on getting my next engine job... I have had what may be the only Miricle APE engine that still runs like a top! Im tryin though! 3 bar soon???!!!

maddboost, we are building these engines on a case by case basis. Give me a call with your needs and I can give you a price. Any of our engine packages that we list on our site could be upgraded to LSX block, but the number of different combinations makes it hard to have a blanket price.
