what did you do to get it to fit?
how did you wire it? ( both on , one on then the other?)
how do you like it so far?

I have them on one of my Mustangs. They work GOOD. At the moment I just have one wired up. With the car sitting, on a 75 degree day, one fan will pull the motor temp down 10 degrees in about 2-3 minutes. These things move some air. The only downside is they are quite heavy.
Buy one of the import mags, I think they advertise in them. Mine cost 260.00 back 6 years ago, so they are prob more now.

I'm with turbo'd stang
I have them on my older vette. I never saw anything less than 210 degrees until I used these. On the freeway at cruise with just 1 on I holds at 190.

I run the dual 11" SPAL set-up in my car, and I love it so far. Squeezing it in required some finesse, but it will fit. It is in the realm of those that have enough tools to do the customizing.
The wiring - you have to cut the harness and mate up the right wires. Mine is wired where one comes on at around 190, and the other comes on to assist at like 200-210. I also have the SLP manual fan control switch, where I can select to run one or two at any given time.
After spending all that money on a blower, I thought it was worth the investment to spend a few hundred more getting the cooling system in better shape.

I have two 12" spal pushers and one 13" spal puller, they are required to clear the powerdyne. So far, when they hit my high speed fan on temp, it knocks the temp right down to the high speed off temp. I think Be-Cool sells the spal fans, I got mine from Ramchargers.

Sorry guys for getting back to this so late. I've been on business travel and then vacation. On the SPAL dual 11", it will fit. I've attached a picture here, plus put a copy of the SPAL documentation at my own website.
Here's a pic >>

Here's a direct link to the SPAL documentation that shows the set-up I used. It's the SPAL part number 30100846, Type 2VA06-AP6-37A. Just the top page of the attached .PFC document >>

For info on dealers and SPAL in general, they have a website at spal-usa.com
Hope that all helps,
Mike M

It looks like it doesn't have the tabs on the side like the at fan shroud. How do you 'attach' it to the radiator? It already looks like the ati fan ain't gonna cut it this summer, and it's only may.

Mine doesn't stick above the top of the radiator. It is using a customized set-up at the top of the radiator to hold the fan down solid. There are also a couple of custom brackets around the sides to keep it pinned down nicely down low.
