Default 6-71 intake prices

Does any one know of a 6-71 intake that is cheaper that the bds unit. They want over a grand for the intake. The austrailia unit looks neat but I cant find prices any where. thanks

Ok this may (or may not) come from australia(my bad) but this is the one I had in mind.http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/e...o_results.html I found there web site but my computer wouldn't load all the pages. looks like it wouldn't cost to much(compaird to sand castings) but I may be wrong. Also if any one knows of other intakes please list them. Thanks

I've thought about it,but bds wanted 9k for the blower and injection set-up when it first came out.

Do you know how the 6-71 performs to the Kenny Bell? With the 6-71 you can put the nice scoop on top

It might cost a bit to get all the pulleys,snout,tb,manifold,etc,etc,etc

No, I don't specifically between the two. It's quite simple physics though to determine that the twin screw is a much more efficient blower than a roots style. Along with the fact it's easier to package and intercool. Actually if space constraints weren't an issue I'd run the whipple 3.3L kit. That thing is awesome.
